Michael McCarthy
Michael McCarthy, also referred to as “Blind Mike”, entered the Poorhouse in 1869. He was abused by the keepers, Mr. and Mrs. Itter, in the 1893 scandal.

Old Jenny
Jenny arrived at the Poorhouse in July 1869, at the time she was 90 years old. She lived at the House for 11 years and died on March 29, 1880 at 101 years old.
